BizMot Technology Ltd (tax code 0315988305), 68 Nguyen Hue, Sai Gon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, controls your personal data on VnMeet, under Vietnam's Personal Data Protection Law and Decree 13/2023/ND-CP. Data questions: support@bizmot.com.

01What we collect

  • Account: email, password (stored only as a hash), or the Google or Apple account you sign in with.
  • Verification: your full name and phone number. Never shown to other members.
  • Profile: display name, photos, gender, birth date, height, weight, job, education, languages, relationship goal, about text, voice and video intros.
  • Location: your city and coordinates rounded to about 1 km, from your phone when you allow it. Your exact location is never shown.
  • Activity: likes, matches, chat messages and photos, feed posts, profile visits, reports and blocks.
  • Device: a random install id, push token, device check results (App Attest, Play Integrity), IP address, app version.
  • Payments: transaction ids and subscription status from Apple or Google. We never see card details.
  • Usage: screens viewed during sign-up and on the Premium page, to improve the app.

02We keep every image

Every image uploaded to VnMeet (profile photos, verification selfies, chat photos including disappearing ones, feed photos) is kept, even after you delete it, it expires, or you delete your account. Other members can no longer see it then, but our moderators still can.

We do this to investigate reports of scams, harassment and abuse, to stop banned people from coming back, and to hand material to the authorities when the law requires.

03Why we use it

  • Running the service: showing profiles, search, matches, chat, notifications.
  • Safety: checking people are real, automatic photo checks (faces, nudity, children, celebrities), spam detection, handling reports, abuse limits.
  • Premium payments and support.
  • Complying with the law, including Decree 147/2024/ND-CP on account verification.

04Who processes data for us

  • Amazon Web Services (Singapore): sending email, photo checks, translating messages when you tap translate.
  • Cloudflare R2: storing photos and backups.
  • Sentry: app error reports, with your member id only, never message text or photos.
  • Expo (United States): sending push notifications. Apple and Google: sign-in, payments, device checks.
  • eSMS: sending verification codes to your phone by SMS.

Some of these store data outside Vietnam. By creating an account you agree to this transfer abroad; we keep the impact assessment the law requires.

05What other members see

Your public profile (display name, approved photos, age, city, rough distance, details you filled in) and what you send them. Never: your legal name, phone, email or exact location. Privacy settings let you hide your profile, hide when you are online and choose who can see you.

06How long we keep it

  • When you delete your account: your profile, logins, likes, matches and lists are removed at once. Messages you sent stay in the other person's inbox, shown as from “a deleted member”.
  • Images: kept, as “We keep every image” explains.
  • Reports, bans and moderation records: kept to stop repeat abuse.
  • Backups: up to 6 months.

07Your rights

You can know, see, correct, download and delete your data, withdraw consent, and object to or restrict processing. Most of this is in the app: Edit profile, Settings › Privacy, Settings › Account › Download my data, and Delete account. For anything else, email support@bizmot.com; we answer within 72 hours. You can also complain to the Ministry of Public Security (Department of Cybersecurity and High-Tech Crime Prevention).

08Adults only

VnMeet is not for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data. Photos showing children are flagged automatically for moderators.

09Security

Connections are encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed with argon2id. Only moderators with their own logins can see deleted images, and everything they do is logged.
